Friends
- Dinauz
Denver (a.k.a. dinauz.org) is a server in an OVH Datacenter that my friends and I are renting since June 2007. We use this server running on Debian GNU/Linux for several services such as Web, Mail, DNS, Subversion hosting, and IRC.
Open Source Software
- Debian
Debian GNU/Linux is one of the most used GNU/Linux distributions in the world. Very stable, well designed, quite easy to use, this is my first choice for my servers: when I want to host a very important project for me, I do it with Debian GNU/Linux.
- Ubuntu
Ubuntu is another GNU/Linux distribution, derived from Debian. It is very user friendly, and I think it is the best alternative to Microsoft Windows for those who want to use free software on their PC, without having to use the command-line all the time.
- VideoLAN
VideoLAN is a project that gave birth to the very famous VLC (VideoLAN Client). I am not a VLC developer, but some of my friends are, and I have supported the project in other ways in the past (with servers administration, for example).
Open Source Software Related Initiatives
- CAcert
CAcert is a free Certification Authority which purpose is to provide free digital certificates. I like this idea very much, and I support CAcert by using CAcert signed SSL certificates.
- Formation Debian
The “Formation Debian” is a very good training program in French for those who want to learn how to use GNU/Linux, and more specifically Debian. I started using GNU/Linux thanks to this fantastic document.
- FOSDEM
The FOSDEM (Free and Open Source Software Developers’ European Meeting) is a great annual meeting about free software and new technologies.
Personal Projects
- Formation LaTeX
This is the website of a training program called the “Formation LaTeX”. When I was at the École Centrale Paris, I used to teach the other students how to use this very nice typesetting system.
Student Associations
- FedeRez
FedeRez is a federation grouping several student associations such as VIA Centrale Réseaux, which purpose is to provide a high speed internet access to student’s residences in campuses.
- GÉPÉO
The GÉPÉO (Groupement Étudiant Pour l’Extrême-Orient) is the Asian Club of the Campus of the École Centrale Paris. I have been President of this student association during the year 2007.
- VIA Centrale Réseaux
VIA Centrale Réseaux is a student association that provides a high speed internet access to more than a thousand students in the Residence of the École Centrale Paris. I have been Unix Administrator there, and responsible for relationships with FedeRez.
